The Eugene Airport held a training exercise Wednesday morning in a test of airport aircraft rescue and firefighting and emergency response procedures for an aircraft accident. In addition to Eugene Airport and Public Works Department staff, agencies participating in the exercise included: Eugene Fire Department, Lane Rural Fire District, Eugene Police Department, Eugene Risk Services, Lane County Sheriff's Office, Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, United Express/Delta Connection, Horizon Air, Flightcraft, American Red Cross and Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.
